Whenever your child looks for videos and views them online, inappropriate content is never far away. The child-friendly version of YouTube is intended to provide a solution for this. YouTube Kids recently became available in Belgium in the form of apps for smartphone, tablet and smart TV.

The offering is a filtered version of what you would find on YouTube, consisting of videos clips and music for children aged 3 to 12 years of age. This gives parents the opportunity of keeping the viewing habits of their kids safe. One feature of YouTube Kids is that parents can create a profile and set certain restrictions, such as placing a limit on screen time or blocking certain videos or channels.
