More than half of Belgian Internet users made purchases online in 2016

According to a survey conducted by the Belgian Office of Statistics, 56% of Belgian Internet users placed an order online 2016.

Among those surveyed, 74% of users aged 25 to 34 said they buy things online, compared with only 27% of 65 to 74-year-olds.

The level of education also plays a role: 79% of well-educated people place orders online, compared with 32% among those with a low level of education.
