Anti-phishing campaign: more than 150 000 suspicious emails have been sent
If you receive a suspicious email that looks like a phishing attempt, you can send it to the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) via suspect@safeonweb.be or verdacht@safeonweb.be. It will be analyzed and, when necessary, the links it contains will be blocked on all major web browsers.
Since its launch in october 2017, the CCB's email address has received more than 150 000 suspicious messages. Data collected in the emails allow for "three to four new phishing websites" to be blocked every day, according to Miguel De Bruycker, CCB director.
